The need:
County Commissioners award MCSPCA a four acre land lease
In 1985 the MCSPCA was founded and in the past 21 years thousands of abused, abandoned, neglected and injured animals have been cared for and loving permanent homes have been found for these animals. The work continues and is ever increasing. To facilitate this work, the MCSPCA is in need of a facility. The workload has exceeded the foster home system we currently have in place.
Benefits to the County
MCSPCA would take animals that the County Shelter does not, animals under 8 weeks or over 5 years, owner surrender, fractious biting dogs, owner surrender, and sick or injured animals. MCSPCA would take ALL cats

General Lobby, Reception Area, Offices, Adoption/Get Acquainted Rooms, Meeting&Education Room, Bathrooms Kennel Rooms / Runs, Cat Rooms QuarantineRooms, Exam /Euthanasia Room, Surgery Room Recovery Room, Laundry Room / Bathing Area and Storage.
Outside Fenced dog exercise area, Run in Shed / Pasture area. All interior animal areas will have drains, sealed floors, and walls. Heating and Cooling will also handle ventilation. A separate ventilation system will handle the quarantine rooms.
