DANERIDGE HARLEQUINS

My first Great Dane was a fawn, Gowindane's Princess Camille sired by Ch. Talbot's Mr. Chips. Camille was born Aug. 24, 1958. Chips was owned and bred by Marie Talbot. This started me out in obedience. I bred Camille once and her grand daughter, Ch. Caspers Sheba of Daneridge, was my first Fawn Champion.

In 1970 I bred Ch. Koto's Baccarat who was my first champion harlequin. To date I have bred, owned or co-owned 22 champions. This has been a hobby for me as well as my daughters who became top junior handlers. They went on to become professional handlers, later retiring to have their families.

I am a member of the Great Dane Club of California and the Great Dane Club of America.

I am currently continuing to pursue a license to judge Great Danes. I was licensed by the American Kennel Club as an All-breed handler in the early 70's. All this occurred while raising a family and working as an Engineering Manager at some of the top government companies: JPL, Data Products, Litton Ind, Teledyne Elec. Fairchild, & TRW.
