Our orphans live as a family members in foster homes until chosen for adoption

To be eligible to adopt from Afghan Hound Rescue Central Ohio you must reside in one of the following states.

 Ohio,  Indiana, Kentucky or West Virginia. 

Our adoption fees are posted for each orphan listed. 

Happy Boy~ Happy Boy has been with us for several months and has proven himself to be a delightful boy.  He has perfect house manners, loves the girls in his foster home.  He was clipped on arrival at his foster home and his coat is growing back nicely.  He loves to be groomed.   Happy Boy is 2 - 3 years old.  If you are interested in adopting Happy Boy, please contact us at ahrco@columbus.rr.com Happy Boy's adoption fee is $250.00   Azuki~ Azuki originally came to rescue several years ago after being found as a stray and turned into the shelter.   After several years in her adoptive home, her family life has changed which has led her Mom to make the heartbreaking decision to return Azuki to rescue.  Azuki is 8 years old, very petite with lots of energy.  She gets along well with the family cat, and loves to run and play.  If you are interested in adopting Azuki, please contact us at ahrco@columbus.rr.com Azuki's adoption fee is $100.00   Katie Katie is as cute as she is cuddly.  She came to us 3 years ago from an out of state shelter who swore she was an afghan hound.   We have never been sure of her exact pedigree, perhaps half affie and half poodle, but one thing is for sure, Katie is a sweetheart.  Katie was originally adopted by her foster Mom, who now finds herself in the difficult situation of having to part with Katie.  Katie is very friendly and gets along with everyone except her house mate who is constantly picking on her to the point that Katie is forced to hide in different rooms.
